Description
Report RNSK5201 creates the K5.2 statistics (determine standard billingdays) that are required according to the federal regulation forhospitals (Germany).

You can maintain which services are to be evaluated for each line inCustomizing in the statistics structure of the service statistics (Tools- Customizing, Configuration Menu - Hospital - Services, Statistics -Statistics structure - Service statistics, Statistics 'K5.2').
Please only enter the services that should be evaluated in theindividual lines; the service of the general nursing charge thereforedoes not belong in the line for private rooms, although both servicescan run at the same time and the private room service is only planned asan additional service.
Maintain the structure of service statistics
For the evaluation, you need to know exactly which line is provided forthe nursing charge without personal item (general nursing charge). Fromthe services of a case which occur in this line, only the periods whichdo not have another service for the case which is also included in thestatistics are evaluated.
Using the valuation factors of case classification, you determine whichcase classification types are included with which factors in thestatistics. (Tools - Customizing, Configuration menu - Hospital -Services, Statistics - Valuation factors - Case classification)

Output
The billing days and standard billing days are output for eachmaintained line - as described above - as well as for the caseclassifications entered in the valuation factors.
The billing days are calculated as specified in the federal regulationfor hospitals (Germany) §9 section 2.3 (

Standard billing days are billing days valuated with certain factors.You can maintain with which factors period-dependent services arevaluated using the valuation factors of the services (Tools -Customizing, Configuration menu - Hospital - Services, Statistics -Valuation factors - Services).
All the services that are not listed there are valuated with factor 1.
Valuation factors - Maintain service
Regardless of the entries in the statistics structure, a line "Periodswithout services" is output in the statistics, if there are cases withthe following attributes: (in the analysis or comparison period in eachcase)

• No services are assigned to the case, assignment is cancelled or planned


• Only services which are not entered in the statistics structure are
assigned to the case

• The discharge of the case occurs after the end of the last assigned
service
