  • Classification area assignment

  • you can specify which catalog or assignment catalog is to be imported.
Using the import parameter, you can specify the sequential file fromwhich the catalogs are to be imported.
With the specifications for the test mode, you can control whether atest run for checking the results of a possible import is to beexecuted.
Using the log request, you can obtain a detailed import log.

    Precondition
It is necessary to enter the institution and at least one catalogselection from the basic catalog or assignment catalogs.
If the test mode is turned off, the specification of the sequential filewith a defined path is necessary.
The report will only be executed if the catalog types in your system aremaintained, for which the import is to be executed.
    Importing has the following preconditions:

    • In the implementation guide for the clinical system, the catalog types
    • in the chapter Catalogs for the nursing support must be defined.
To secure the referential integrity of your assignment catalogs, thesystem checks to confirm whether the referenced basic catalog entriesexist.
For this reason we recommend that you import the necessary basiccatalogs all at once in an import of assignment catalogs.
If you have also defined Cycles for the nursing standard -service catalog assignment, you should ensure first of all that thecycles used have been configured on your target system. When thisassignment is imported, the system checks whether the cycle code existsthere. You can find the result of the check in the import log.
Configuring the cycles is not a prerequisite for importing the nursingstandard - service catalog assignment.

      Output
The active log mode will produce a detailed output of all data recordsfor those catalogs selected as well as the number of data recordsdetermined.
If you have turned off the test mode, you will be shown an overview ofthe catalogs exported with the number of data records transferred to thesequential file.

      Example
You can run the program to import a certain catalog which was previouslyexported from another system.
If you want to execute an import with no previous export, the importfile of the DDIC structure RN2UPK should correspond to the following:
      FELD TL,,Range of record types
