Programme SAP RN2DOC_ARCHIVE - i.s.h.med: Archive Documents

Purpose
Terminology: Please note that the term 'document class' (for example,(archive) document class) used in SAP ArchiveLink is the equivalent of'document category' used in i.s.h.med.
This report allows you to archive selected documents.
Archiving is done using the SAP Basis functions. The report onlyprocesses documents that have not already been archived. Once a documenthas been archived, the archiving indicator is set in its managementdata. When you call documents for which the archiving indicator is set,the system always displays the archived document and not the original.
The archived document is not deleted from the SAP database. If you wishto delete documents from the SAP system after archiving, you must callthe report RN2DOC_DELETE_ARCHIVED_DOC.

Prerequisites
To run the program you need authorization for the authorization groupN_2_DV1 in the authorization object S_PROGRAM.
The archiving format needs to be defined for each document classapplication. Archiving in the SAP system is controlled by means of the(archive) document type. An (archive) document type must be setup for each application. You make the ArchiveLink settings inCustomizing by choosing SAP Web Application Server -> Basis Services ->ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing. You assign an (archive) documentclass, with which the archiving format is established, to an (archive)document type.

  • For the parameterized documents (PARAMDOKU), you have to create an
  • (archive) document type with the archive document class PDF.
    • For WORD documents (WORDCONTAINER), you can create an (archive) document
    • type with the archive document class 'DOC'.
Each document class application must be assigned to an (archive)document type, since the (archive) document type is the point of entryinto Archive Customizing. You assign the document class application tothe (archive) document types inCustomizing (choose SAP Healthcare:Industry-Specific Component Clinical System -> Clinical Documentation ->Document Definition -> Specify System Settings for ArchivingApplications).
The (archive) document type is also used to make the assignments to theother archive Customizing settings, such as object type (SAP BusinessObject), storage system (archive), and link table. All (archive)document types for medical documents must be assigned to the object typeMedical Document 'BUS1400' in Customizing (choose SAP Web ApplicationServer -> Basis Services -> ArchiveLink -> Basic Customizing -> EditLinks).

      Selection
You can use the change date (Changed On) to include documentsthat have not been changed in the selection made by the system. This isbecause when you create a document the system automatically uses thecreation date as the change date.
You can also use this report to archive documents synchronously. It isonly in this processing mode that you can ensure that the system doesnot set the archiving indicator in the document management data iferrors occur during the archiving process. With asynchronous archiving, you can use the ArchiveLink Monitor (transaction OAM1) to check whetherall documents have been archived. If errors occur, you can repeat thearchiving run.
You can run the report in test mode. The program creates a log and doesnot make any changes in the database.
You can specify whether the log is to be saved.

      Output
The log is created and output using SAP Application Logging. You cananalyze and delete the saved logs using transactions SLG1 and SLG2respectively.
