Description
Program RMCWISCP is for the statistical setup of information structuresin Retail. It is designed to copy or delete versions in whichstatistical data is stored. A distinction is made between the datastored in an info structure according to the version to which the datais assigned. Version '000' contains the actual data. This means thedata written to the info structure by means of the statistics update.Versions beginning with '&(' are designed to store any temporary valuesthat occur during a statistics setup. All other versions containplanning data.
The statistical setup of an info structure has a similar procedure toonline updating, with the difference that the data is not initiallywritten to version '000' but to a freely-definable version that startswith '&('. The data is only copied from this version to version '000'once the setup has been successfully completed. This copy run isperformed by program RMCWISCP.
In order to prevent losing version '000' (i.e. the existing actualdata), SAP recommends that you save it under another version name. Thissaftey copy is also created by means of program RMCWISCP erzeugt. Theprogram is also used to reset a version (i.e. delete the data that wasstored in this version up till now).
Description of Parameters:

• Info structures: spezificies the information structures for which this
function is to be performed.

• Source version: defines the version to be copied


• Target version: defines the version to which the data is to be copied
It is possible that data already stored in the target structure isdeleted!

• Delete version?: indicates that, instead of a copy run, the data in the
version is deleted. Deactivates the copy function.

• Version to be deleted: defines the version to be deleted.
