In Rel. 3.0, work center and hierarchy matchcodes have been convertedto transparent matchcodes. This conversion improves the systemperformance and requires less storage space.
You can continue to search for work centers and hierarchies using shorttexts which are not case sensitive. This is possible because a newfield was created in the master data in which the short text is alsostored in capital letters. With this program, the system fills thefield retroactively for all existing work centers and hierarchies.
This program processes the data to be converted in blocks and checkswhether a change is necessary. You can restart the program withoutcausing any problems (for example, when the program is interrupted) .
