Description
You can carry forward open commitment values into the first period ofthe next fiscal year as part of fiscal year close processing.

Precondition
For performance reasons, the documents being edited are not blockedwhile you run the transactions. In very unfavorable circumstances,this can lead to update terminations. For this reason, do not processpurchase orders from old fiscal years while the program is running.
If you have activated availability control for proejcts, do not budgetprojects while the program is running.
The system only updates assigned values. Warnings and error messagesfrom availability control are suppressed.

Output
If you so specify, the program generates a detail list showing all thepurchase order items carried forward.

Example
There is a purchase order with delivery date November 10, 1996, Therelevant commitment is displayed for period 11 of 1996. After youcarry forward commitments for the 1996 fiscal year, the commitmentappears in period 01 of 1997.
