Maintenance Plan Costing

Purpose
You can determine the costs to be expected for
maintenance plans for aperiod of your choice using this report.

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites must be met:

• the maintenance plans are scheduled.


• either the maintenance order

or service order is setas the
maintenance call objectfor the
maintenance plan category.

• the maintenance plan has neither the status inactive nor has a
deletion flag been set.

• the times for the operations are maintained and/or materials with
prices are assigned to the operations in the
maintenance task list.

Features
The system simulates the
maintenance calls for thespecified period and determines the costs to be expected.
You can perform a costing in one of the following ways:
Online
You can perform a costing for a maintenance plan and display theresult. The costing will not be saved.
In the background
You can perform a costing for one or several maintenanceplans and display the result. The system saves the costing according toyour specifications together with the date on which the costing wascarried out in a file (INDX). If you perform a new costing, the systemwill overwrite the old costing with the new one.

Special features
The system does not determine any overhead costs.
You cannot perform a costing for
multiple counter plans.
