Purpose
RISTEQ06 is a report for examining (and, if necessary, for correcting)the indicator for the existence of the complete equipment segment of aserial number (EQUI-S_EQUI).
The examination can be performed for any amount of master records (byspecifying the equipment- or material serial numbers).
The report offers you a test option (LP_TEST); if this is active, itmerely examines whether inconsistencies exist. Corrections are onlymade when the test mode is switched off.
The option LP_EXTD for the extended inspection should remain switchedoff for the first run. The run can be repeated with the option switchedon, particularly if no inconsistencies were discovered.
By activating the option LP_PROT, a log of the master records found tobe inconsistent is output.
Before use, you should consider that the runtime increases inproportion to the master records to be inspected. If necessary, you canuse the selection options to suitably apportionate the master recordsinto individual partial runs.

Prerequisites
No locks are set on the records to be corrected, that is, the reportshould only be performed in correction mode if the master records(within the clients) are not being accessed or changed.
