Programme SAP RHHCP_DC_EMU_CONVERSION - Currency Conversion of Personnel Cost Planning Infotypes (0666, 5010)

Purpose
This report supports the currency conversion to euro for thePlanning of Personnel Costs (0666 and 5010) infotypes.
Note
Do not convert the currency when the production system is in operation.

Features
This report converts the data records in database table PA0666 HRMaster Record Infotype 0666) and HRP5010 Database Table Infotype5010) for Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation to euro.
The conversion only affects infotypes in which the amount or rate isspecified.
During the conversion, the SAP system differentiates between two typesof data records:

  • The validity of the data record is after the conversion date.

    • The SAP system converts the amount and, if necessary, the rate to euro,and saves the data. The start and end date of the data records remainsunchanged.
    • The conversion date is within the validity period for the data record.

      • The SAP system delimits the data record on the day prior to theconversion date. The system then creates a new data record for thepartial period until the conversion date and converts the amount and,if necessary, the rate of the appropriate currency to euro.
      All other data records remain unchanged.

      Selection
      Under Currency Conversion, in the Conversion Currencyfield, enter the currency that is to be converted to euro. In theConversion Date field, you can determine from which day the newcurrency should be entered.
      Under Rounding, in the Rounding Divisor and RoundingType fields, you determine how accurately the SAP system shouldround the new amount.
      Under Other Attributes, you can determine whether you want toexecute the report in test run and whether the SAP system shoulddisplay a list of the data records it has stored in the Planning ofPersonnel Costs (05010 and 0666) infotypes.
      If you set the Test Run indicator, the SAP system displays anexample of the rounding you selected.

      Further Notes

      • Personal Cost Planning and Simulation is still fully operative
        • even if you do not run this report because it has its own planningcurrency. However, we still recommend that you convert the currency toeuro.
        • We recommend that you first run the report in test run with a log so
          • that you can obtain an overview of the data records that are affected.
          • Exchange rate type M is used for the conversion.

          • The SAP system uses the conversion date as the rate day.

          • You must convert the data in each client separately.
