Programme SAP RHHCP_DC_EMPLOYEE - Collecting Personnel Cost Planning Data for Employees

Purpose
This report enables you to collect all employee-related planning datathat you later need for your planning run.

Integration
You must collect data before the actual planning run. Before you executethe planning run, you should first determine which data needs to beconsidered for personnel cost planning and make this data available as adata basis. The system writes the data collected using this report inthe Planning of Personnel Costs (0666) infotype.
Data collection methods delivered by SAP are available as a data sourcein the standard system. If you have created your own data collectionmethods in Customizing for Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation
, the customer-specific methods are also available in this reportafter you have implemented and activated the Business Add-In DataCollection: Employee Data (HRHCP00_DC_EMPLOYEE).

Selection
In the Selection group box, store the employees for which youwant to perform data collection. The group box corresponds to theselection screen of the logical database PNP.
In the Data Source group box, select a data collection method. Inthe Data Collection Methods dialog box, the system offers forselection all data collection methods that are implemented at yourenterprise. In the dialog box you can overwrite the entries for the dataselection period in the columns Data Sel.(Data Selection)from and to. This allows you to change the data selection period forthe methods. The data selection period specifies from which period thesystem takes data. For example, you can enter the current calendar yearas the data selection period and in the Data Storage
group box, you can enter the following year as the data collectionperiod. The system then takes the data determined for the current yearas planning basis and writes it in the Planning of Personnel Costs
(0666) infotype.
You can select several data collection methods at the same time byselecting the appropriate lines and selecting Continue.
If you have selected a data collection method that allows or requiresadditional parameters you can add additional entries to the data source.If you have only selected data collection methods that do not allowadditional parameters, the Additonal Parameters pushbutton isinactive.
In the Data Storage group box, you can control the storage ofcollected data. In the Data Collection Period field, store thedata collection period for which you want to select data. After the datacollection run, the system writes the data collected for this period inthe Planning of Personnel Costs (0666) infotype.
In the Data Basis (Subtype) field, enter the subtype for thePlanning of Personnel Costs (0666) infotype you want to use.
If you first want to collect data for test purposes, set the TestRun indicator. In this case, the system does not write the collecteddata in the database.
If you want to display a list of the data records collected, set theData Record Log indicator.
The Attendance/Absence Type field enables you to further restrictthe period for which the system is to collect employee data. Examples:

  • If some of your employees are currently on maternity leave, you can
  • collect data specifically for these employees during this period.
    • If some of your employees are currently on paternity leave, you can
    • exclude this period from data collection.

      Output
      If an error occurs, the system displays an appropriate error log.
      If you set the Data Record Log indicator, the system displaysthe collected data records in a list.
