Purpose
Use this report to check your compensation budgets for accuracy. Forexample, you can check if there are any negative values within thebudget.
Once the system has verified that the budget values are consistent, youcan release the budget or set the status of the budget back to'Planning' if subsequent changes are required.

The system displays one of the following status messages for the budgetunit:
Budget values are consistent
Budget values are not consistent - there are sub-budgets with negatives!

• Release Budget:

If the budget is consistent and the budget is released, the systemdisplays the message: "Budget status issuccessfully set to Released"
Note:
If there is another budget of the same type and period and for the sameorg unit for any of the budget units in the structure that has alreadybeen released, you cannot release the budget. The system does not allowyou to have more than one budget released with the same type and periodfor an org unit.
Only the entire budget structure can be released. Therefore, you mustselect the "Root budget".

• Reset to Planning:

If the budget can be reset to planning, the system displays the message:"Budget status is successfully set to Planning".
Note: You can only reset the status to Planning if none of thebudget has been spent.
