Purpose Cost center groups or other CO groups had to be copied to sets byprogram RGSCPY00 prior to release 4.0. This was necessary as groupscould not be used for FI-SL or other tables. Starting with release 4.0,groups can be used directly in any report, variable, allocation,planning, rollup and validation/substitution (seerelease note). This program can be used to replace sets by the original CO groups inthese applications.
Activities Enter a pattern for set names and a table name to select old setscreated by RGSCPY00. Choose the group type and controlling area thatwas used to create these Sets and execute the program. The program will list all sets for which a group of the same nameexists. The prefix given on the selection screen and any suffix (.
) will be ignored in the search for identical group names. You can then replace all marked Sets by the corresponding groups in allreports, variables, allocations, planning parameters and rollups usingthe sets. Sets that are used in validations/substitutions or inpredefined columns have to be replaced manually.
Notes All report groups affected by the replacement have to be generatedafter running this program. Non-used Sets can be deleted in the set maintenance transaction: GS03->Utilities->Non-used sets.
