Programme SAP RFVIMW01 - Create Batch Input Session for Changing Tax Code ID for Current LO

Description
This report generates a batch input session which converts the tax codefrom "old tax code" to "new tax code" as from a specific date for allactive rental agreements.
The report can be used if a new legal tax rate has been introduced anda new tax code has been created for it in FI.
The report selects all active contracts which are valid on the "validas from" date or will be valid later and for which the tax code isvalid for at least one condition item. A batch input session isgenerated for these contracts which changes the tax code on conditionheader or condition item level to the new tax code via the transaction"Change active rental agreements".

Precondition
Both the old and the new tax codes have to be defined in FICustomizing. You should make sure that the contracts affected are notchanged between creating the batch input session via the report andgenerating the batch input session using suitable organizationalmeasures (e.g. by blocking the transaction FO38).

Output
The system displays a list of all contracts which are affected by thechange.
The name of the batch input session which has been generated is alsodisplayed. You have to process this session manually.

Example
Taxes on sales/purchases rise from 15% to 16% as from 04/01/98.
In FI Customizing, the old output tax of 15% has the tax code A1 andthe new output tax of 16%, the tax code O1.
Start the report using the following parameters:
In the upper section of the screen, you only have to set the "Period"to 04/01/98 (= date as from when the new tax is valid) and the reportthen runs for all active rental agreements in this client.
If you only want to convert specific contracts (e.g. the contracts in acompany code), you have to enter the corresponding select options.
If you have rental agreements with debit position frequencies greaterthan one month, the tax code of these contracts has to be changed afterthe date of the next debit position. Via the selection field "Conditionheader frequency", you can explicitly include or exclude thesecontracts in/from the selection.
If you have rental agreements in your portfolio with frequency 12, 6, 3and 1, we recommend for the above example to first run the program forcontracts with frequency 0 to 3 and date 04/01/98, then for contractswith frequency 6 and date 07/01/98 and then for contracts withfrequency 12 and date 01/01/99.
In this example, you enter the following in the lower part of thescreen:
Old tax code A1
New tax code O1
Batch input session name VVI_MW_CHNG
You can choose any name for the batch input session.
