Rent Invoice: Repeat Print

Purpose
The repeat print function prints invoices that were createdusing the program Rent Invoice: First Print program.Reference to the original invoice is established using the invoicenumber.

Prerequisites
Invoices have to have already been created by the above-named program.
The system administrator must make the settings for thecorrespondence function. These include:

• One-time preparations


• Letter maintenance


• Using user exits

Features
The same items are listed with the invoice number of the first print.The repeat print does not assign new invoice numbers. The items areinvoiced again, regardless of whether or not they have been cleared inthe meantime. The repeat print also invoices items that, in exceptionalcases, also appear under another invoice number.
You can format this invoice differently than in the first print. Thisapplies to the layout with the following parameters:


• Print att. payment medium


• Summarize items


• correspondence activity

It also applies to the data for Conversion to other currency.
The letter creation date is used to selecttime-dependent data. In this way you can take address changes intoaccount, for example.

Selection
In the Invoice selection group you can directly enter theinvoice number and the invoiceyear for the invoices you want to print again. If you run aselection by invoice number, the selection ignores all the selectioncriteria of the Select Real Estate Objects group (except therequired field Company code). The invoice numberfield has a search help that you can use to do an invoice search.
You are also able to select the invoices according to Real Estateobjects or partner data. To do this, you have to leave the Invoicenumber field blank. Invoices are also selected even if the affectedReal Estate object of each invoice doesn't completely match theselection criteria; an invoice for two lease-outs of one customer isselected even though only one of the lease-outs matches the selectioncriteria. Since the repeat print contains exactly the same items as thefirst print, the items belonging to the lease-out that was not selectedare also printed.

Since no new invoice numbers are generated in the repeat print, whenyou use the print preview, it is not a "test print (unlike in the firstprint). The update of the invoice print log is limited to the update ofthe spool request number in table VIMIIH.
