Programme SAP RFVICPTL - Overview of Letters and Text Modules

Title
Overview of letters and text modules

Purpose
The report displays letter-based lists of the available text modules.
You can search for any text within all modules and maintain the modulesindividually.

Integration
The lists are based on the ALV tool (ABAP list viewer). This enablesyou to use uniform, generic functions in all lists, such as sorting, filtering, adjusting columns and exporting data. You can save theseadjustments either for all users or for a specific user.

Prerequisites

Features

Selection
The selection screen allows you to make a selection according to letterand text module characteristics.
Three different views are available for the text module display:
o Text definition (Text lines with paragraph format details),
o Symbols used (List of symbols and frequency of use in the module),
o Header information only (Creation and change information, etc.).
You can also limit the display of text definition to text lines inwhich a certain search text or a certain paragraph format appears.
This limitation simplifies the total overview of existing text modules. However, you do not have to use the text search for the letteroverview.

Output
The selection of the letters is the important factor for the letteroverview (if activated). If no text module can be found for a letter(for example due to the selection of the text modules or due to a textsearch), the letter is presented on a blue colored background.
Doubleclick a line in the letter overview to view the list of thecorresponding text modules.
In the text module list, text modules that are used via a separate formroutine are presented on a yellow colored background.
Doubleclick a line in the text module overview to open the text editorin the corresponding text module processing mode. When you exit theeditor any changes to the modules are automatically updated.
