Purpose
You can use this program to generate offered objects from rental objectson a periodic basis.
In Customizing for the real estatesearch, you specify which usage types of the rental object are relevantfor the real estate search (assignment of usage type to RE searchrequest type). The system automatically generates an offered object forthese usage types when: you create a rental object with the usage type,or when a vacancy arises due to the lease ending or notice being given.The offered object is used to facilitate a quick search for the objectin the real estate search. The offered object contains information ofthe rental object, and from its higher-level objects (businessentity/building/land). It also contains a view of certain conditions andmeasurements that are especially important for the prospect (such as,the amount of space, number of rooms, net basic rent, and servicecharges).
If the data of the rental object (or the higher-level building or land)changes, then the system automatically updates the assigned offeredobject.
You also specify in Customizing the number of months before a vacancythat you want the offered object to be created. For example, you have alease-out with a notice period of six months, but it is set up so thatthe offered object is not created until four months before a vacancy. Asa result, the system does not create the offered object immediately whennotice is given.
In that case, use this program. This program then generates the offeredobject as soon as the date is four months before the vacancy begins.
After changes in Customizing (for example, to the allowed fixtures andfittings characteristics for offered objects), all offered objects haveto be updated. You also use this program for that.Selection
