Preparation program for payment card master records archiving

Purpose
Program RFCRDMDF is the preparation program for payment cardmaster records archiving. The program checks that each master recordfulfils all the prerequisites for archiving. If a master record can bearchived the indicator archivable is set.

Prerequisites

• You must be authorized to archive the master record.


• The validity of the master record must have exceeded a specific
residence time.
You can determine the residence time for card master records in thepayment card menu along the path Settings -> Card types -> Maintain


• There should not be any dependent objects.

Dependent objects are, in this context, objects that refer to themaster record to be archived. These include:
Data file records in payment card files
Credit vouchers
FI-documents

Features
On the selection screen, you can select the master records to bearchived according to card type and card number.
You can define whether a test run should take place or whether thearchiving indicator should be set during the update run.
You can also determine how detailed a log should be output.
By double clicking on one of the payment card master records listed inthe log, you can branch to that master record and make changes to it.Once the archivable indicator has been set for a master record,you are no longer permitted to make changes to it.

Output
Detail log success
If you have set the indicator Detail log success, all masterrecords are output, for which the archiving indicator could be set.
Detail log error
If you have set the indicator Detail log error, those masterrecords are output, for which the archiving indicator could not be setand are then placed in order of cause of error. The following causesare possible:


• You have no authorization for archiving the master record


• The master record was blocked


• The master record is in the residence time


• There are still dependent objects for the master record.
