Description
You can extend budget billing plans, billing documents not yetinvoiced, and billing orders not yet billed. To do this, proceed asfollows:
Choose Utilities Industry -> Invoicing -> Budget Billing Plan ->Extend.
The Extend Budget Billing Plans screen appears. Default valuesare proposed for the following selection criteria:
Company code
Portion
Scheduled meter reading date
Scheduled billing date
Division
If you wish to add to these selection criteria or obtain a detailedselection of all open billing and invoicing documents, choose Edit-> Limit selection. The Extend budget billing plans dialogbox appears. Select the criteria you require and choose OK.
You can limit the selection further as follows:
Select either Scheduled billing date or Sched. meter readingdate (scheduled meter reading date). Enter the dates.
In the Interval for extension field, enter the number of days tobe used as an interval. Note that interval refers to thedifference between the current date and the end period of the budgetbilling plan.
If you wish to display open invoicing documents only or open billingdocuments only, select either Billing documents not invoiced orBilling orders not billed.
Choose Program -> Execute.
The Open Invoicing and Billing Documents list appears.
A status is displayed for each entry. The status provides the followinginformation:
Green traffic light: The end period of the budget billing plan is inthe future.
Yellow traffic light: The end period of the budget billing plan is inthe past and must be extended; however, it cannot be extended by theextension interval that was specified.
Red traffic light: The end period of the budget billing plan is in thepast and can be extended by the interval specified. To do this, selectthe Extend field for the relevant budget billing plan. ChooseEdit -> Extend budget billing plan. The Number of BBPitems dialog box appears. Enter a number between one and nine forthe number of months. Choose OK. The end of the budget billingplan is adjusted and now has a green traffic light.
Red cross: The budget billing plan has an activated YAP and cannot beextended.
Stop sign: The budget billing plan is stopped and cannot be extended.
Lock: The budget billing plan is locked and cannot be extended.
You can display the following information directly from the list:
Billing documents
Invoicing documents
Contract
Business partner
Contract account of an open billing or invoicing document
Place the cursor on one of the fields and choose
Edit -> Display.
