    • analysis performed in the first step.
Executing the Archive Disconnection Document report is step one.
The archiving object contains the following data:
      • EDISCDOC: Disconnection document: Header

      • EDISCOBJ: Disconnection document: Disconnection object (reference
      • values)
        • EDISCACT: Disconnection document: Activities (reference values)

You can use the Archive Administration (SARA)transaction to access archive administration and the associatedCustomizing settings.
You can use the Archive Information System (SARI

            Integration
Archiving disconnection documents involves the following reports:
            RESET N1

            • Archiving Report

            • The system analyzes the disconnection documents. Documents that can bearchived are written to the archive file.
              • Deletion Report

              • Disconnection documents that are found in the archive file are deletedfrom the corresponding database tables.

                Features
The archiving report only selects disconnection documents whoseretention period has expired.
You can define the retention period in the Customizing settings forSAP Utilities under -> Tools -> Archiving ->Define Retention Period for Archiving Objects
                .
You can use the BAdI ISU_DISC_ARCHIVE todefine additional checks to identify whether documents can be archivedin a subsequent analysis process.

                Archivability Checks
The system performs various checks prior to archiving a disconnectiondocument.
These checks can be grouped in different areas:

                Check Document Status
A disconnection document is archived if the disconnection status isDisconnection Carried Out or if it has the value 99. If ithas a different value, the document cannot be archived.

                Retention Period Check
A disconnection document is archived if the date specified inCustomizing for the retention period is later than the creation date. Iffor example <30 days> has been specified in theRetPeriod field for completed disconnection documents, adisconnection document can only be archived if at least 30 days havepassed since the creation date.

                Check Billed Documents
A disconnection document is archived in the following cases:

                • The Billing-Relevant indicator is not selected.

                • The Billing-Relevant indicator is selected and the
                • current billing period is not the same as the current billingperiod in the system.

                  Selection
You can make the following settings when you start the report:

                  • Disconnection Document: Restrict the selection to
                  • specific disconnection document or a range of disconnection documents.
                    • Test Mode: if you start the report in the
                    • test mode, the system does not make any changes to the database.
                      • Production Mode: The database is changed.

                      • Detail Log: The system writes detailed
                      • information to the log for every data record analyzed. You can indicatethat this information is not to be displayed in the report on the reportselection screen. To do so, do not select the Detail Logindicator. You can also display error messages only by selectingthe Without Success Messages indicator.
                        • Log Output: You can define the format in
                        • which information is to appear on the screen here.
                          • Archiving Session Note: You can record a note on the
                          • archiving run here.
