Tool for reorganizing BRE tables

Purpose
This tool enables you to reset BRE database tables.
You can use it:

• For test phases


• In the productive system, for deleting entries that are no longer
required.
Entries that are no longer used are then not additionally storedand archived.
If you do not know how to use this tool, contact SAP.
The following BRE database tables can be partially or completely resetusing this tool.

• INSTSET Table of error extracts


• ISU_DGEN_LOGS Log of BRE extract generation runs


• ISU_BALHDR Last log as offset for extract generation


• ISU_PROC_LOG Process external log numbers per extract generation


• ISU_BRE_LOGS BRE run log


• ISU_ERREXTR_BI Description of all extracts from a backlog set


• ISU_PROC_BRE Process external log numbers per parallel BRE run

You must be particularly careful with the highlighted tables, as theseare required for core processes of BRE. The other tables are infotables.
