Report RCUMODEL
Report RCUMODEL lets you display a configuration model with transactionCUMODEL.
1 Initial Screen
On the initial screen of this transaction, you must enter theconfigurable material and plant. These two parameters are absolutelynecessary to display the configuration model. In addition, you canenter BOM data on the initial screen. If no BOM usage is specified, allBOMs that exist in the system for the material are displayed.
Also, the user can display the model for a specific date. However, youare not required to enter a date. If no date is specified, the model isdisplayed as valid on today's date.
2 Displaying the Model
The configuration model is displayed using a tree structure. First, only the configurable material is displayed. By expanding the node, youdisplay the subordinate nodes for classes, BOMs, routings, andconfiguration profile. Only the header data of these components isshown. It is important to note that descriptions are shown in the logonlanguage, so if there is no description in this language, the fieldremains blank. When you expand the individual nodes, the individualdetail data is displayed at runtime. Below the nodes for classes, theindividual characteristics and characteristic values assigned to theclass are displayed. By expanding the BOM node, the items of the superBOM are displayed. Please note that this is the super BOM, not an orderBOM. This means that all possible BOM items are displayed. Theindividual items are flagged with various icons. For example, configurable materials in the BOM have the same icon as theconfigurable material at the root of the tree. In the routing, theindividual operations and sequences are displayed. As for the BOM, thisis the super task list. In other words, all operations and sequencesare displayed. The BOM and routing are not exploded according toassigned characteristic values or the configuration profile. All themaster data is displayed. Configuration profiles cannot be expanded anyfurther down the tree.
All data as of the third level is only loaded if the user requests itby expanding the relevant node. This is to prevent problems with systemperformance when loading the configuration model.
As well as displaying the individual components of a configurationmodel, this transaction provides additional functions. Bydouble-clicking on individual icons in the tree, you display detaildata for the component. In this way, you can double-click on thedependency icon to display a list of all the dependencies that areassigned to a component. By double-clicking on an line in this list, you can display the source code for the selected dependency.
Double-clicking on a configurable material in the BOM displays theconfiguration model of this configurable material.
By double-clicking on the icon in a configuration profile, you candisplay the detail data of the configuration profile.
There are no further nodes for further navigation.
