Description
This report reconciles the budget values for projects following theeuro conversion. It adjusts all projects that have the controlling areacurrency euro. Projects with other controlling area currencies are notreconciled.
The report does not reconcile the assigned values.
Budget value or release inconsistencies can arise within the budgethierarchy during the euro conversion. For complex projects, theseinconsistencies are very difficult to correct manually. The followinginconsistencies can occur:

• There are negative amounts (triggered by rounded off negative amounts,
for example, with returns).

• There is more of the budget distributed to lower-level objects than
exists on the higher-level object.

• There is more of the budget distributed over the fiscal years, than
exists as an overall value.

• The released values exceed the current budget.

Technical Information
The report updates adjustments in the budget as a "Supplement".Adjustments to the releases are updated as a "Release".

Timing of the Report Run
Carry out the report after the euro conversion, and, whenever possible,before you budget again for the projects.
During budget reconciliation, you cannot edit the projects selected forthe report.

Output
The budget values for the projects are reconciled.

Notes
If you have projects with extensive hierarchies, you should carry outthe report each time with a limited number of projects to improveperformance.
