Programme SAP RAIDKRC03 - Change Distribution Rules Used to Settle Capital Investment Measures

Description
You use this report to settle internal orders that are defined ascapital investment measures. Internal orders are used to monitor theoverhead costs incurred by assets under construction.
In Korea, capital investment measures and interest are distributedbetween target assets according to the cumulative amounts (balances)that have already been posted to them. This report supplements thesettlement rule that distributes indirect investments between assetsproportionately.
You can only process one order at once. However, you can settle theindividual line items to different assets.
From this report, you can also access the program that settles thecosts (Actual Settlement: Order).

Precondition

  • The order must be defined as a capital investment measure and must have
  • an investment profile that supports line item settlement. You must alsoassign a target asset to the order by entering the order number in theasset master under Origin -> Account assignment forinvestment -> Capital inv. order.
    • The order's system status must be set to "Technically complete,"
    • otherwise the costs will be settled to the assets under constructioninstead of the target assets. The assets under construction arespecified when an order is created.
      • The distribution rules from the settlement rule must be entered for
      • each cost line item in the order.
On the initial screen, choose Accounting -> Controlling-> Internal orders -> Actual postings -> Period-endclosing -> Settlement -> Individual processing ->Environment -> Line item apportionment.
        Enter the order.
        Choose Execute.
Select the line items that you want to settle.
Choose Edit -> Final settlement -> Enter finalsettlement.
Maintain the distribution rule group, but leave the % andEquivalence no. fields blank. They are filled out by the report.
        • The target assets must contain line items, as these form the basis for
        • calculating how the costs are distributed.
