Description
This conversion program updates certain entries in the material masterfield table. This is the table in which you define, for example, themaintenance status and the field selection group for each materialmaster field. You can access this table in Customizing for theMaterial Master by choosing Assign fields to field selectiongroups.
The conversion program makes the following changes:

• Assigns field MARA-TAKLV to field selection group 186 and to special
field selection group 022.

• Assigns screen field MG03STEUER_DELETE to field selection group 096,
change code 004, and special field selection group 022.

• Assigns the following unit of measure fields to special field selection
group 065:

MARC-FRTME
MVKE-VRKME
MVKE-SCHME
MLGN-LVSME
MLGN-BEZME
MAW1-WSTAW
MAW1-WAUSM
MAW1-WVRKM

• Assigns fields MARA-PMATA and MVKE-PMATN to special field selection
group 064.

• Assigns purchasing info record field EINE-WAERS to special field
selection group 068.

• Assigns sales status MVKE-VMSTA and sales date MVKE-VMSTD to special
field selection group 071.

• Assigns POS control fields and purchasing organization data fields to a
single field selection group.

• Cancels the referencing indicator for EAN data fields and sets it for
all other unit of measure definition fields (MARM-*).

Output
The log contains only one entry for the start and end of updating.Errors cannot occur since the entries that are updated in the fieldselection table are only those that also exist in the customer system.
