Programme SAP KW_FOLDER_REPORTS - Evaluation of History Tables

This report identifies the transport requests associated with the KWcontent deletion report (KW_CONTENT_DELETION or transaction KW_IO_DEL).
This list of transport requests is needed in case too many versions ofinfo objects in the selected folders get deleted by mistake when thecontent deletion report is run.

Prerequisites
Required Authorizations
Authorization for transaction KW_IO_DEL_TR or for transaction SE38 /SA38 is required to run report KW_FOLDER_REPORTS.
Parallel Execution
While the report to identify the transport requests is running, allother reports that process contents at folder level in the SAP KW systemmust be inactive (for example, reorganization (SI81 -> Goto ->Reorganization)). Neither must any other instance of the KW contentdeletion report (KW_CONTENT_DELETION), or the report to evaluate thehistory tables (KW_FOLDER_REPORTS) be active.
Entries in Transport Tables
The transport tables (E07*) must be filled so that the assignmentbetween the deleted info objects (or deleted versions of an info object)can be identified. This information is no longer available if the SAPsystem is renamed or reinstalled in transaction SE06.

Features
You have deleted SAP contents or customer contents from your SAP KWsystem when running report KW_CONTENT_DELETION in transaction KW-IO-DEL.
You would now like to evaluate information from the history tables(KWDEL_HEAD / KWDEL_RES_OBJ) in transaction KW_IO_DEL_TR (run reportKW_FOLDER_REPORTS). You can do the following tasks in dialog mode inthis report:

  • Identify transport requests
  • Selection

                          Output
                          Option: "Save"
The report creates a TXT file with the name you entered.
This text file contains the entries from tables KWDEL_HEAD andKWDEL_RES_OBJ in accordance with the context settings and the selectedfolders.
The first entries appearing in the text file are from header tableKWDEL_HEAD and relate to the parameters of the executed KW deletionreport. Then come entries for the actual versions that were deleted orflagged for deletion.
                          RESET N2
                          Option "Transport Request":
The report displays a list of the transport requests found.
For these entries the Object Class and ID fields are empty.
If versions of objects without a transport request were found, theseentries appear after the list of transport requests. For these entriesthe Object Class and 32-character ID are visible, and only the TransportRequest column is empty for these entries.
If entries for objects without a transport request appear in the resultslist, this means no associated transport requests could be identified inthe E07* tables. If these contents are needed again in the SAP KWsystem, a backup would have to be imported before running the deletionreport.
Authors themselves can define the criteria for sorting and filtering.
Authors can save the list in any format they like, by choosing List ->Export -> Local File.
