Programme SAP J_1SNPLZ - IS-M/SD CH/S: Postal Data Transfer Program for Postal Codes

Purpose
This program formats the data from the temporary postal code file(ISP_PTT_PLZ_DAT) and writes it to the following postal code tables:

  • JSTPLZPRO (postal codes)

  • JSTPLZORT (postal code-city assignments)

  • J_1SPLZZUO (assignment of 4-digit to 6-digit postal codes for CH)
  • Integration
    Please adhere to the processing sequence (reports).
    Transfer of PTT master data dataset
    1) J_1SNFIL (Create temporary file)
    2) J_1SKGS (Create dummy entry for district municipality key)
    3) J_1SNORT (Data transfer of PTT city data)
    4) J_1SNPLZ (Data transfer of PTT postal code data)
    5) J_1SNSTR (Data transfer of PTT street data)
    6) J_1SNBOT (Data transfer of PTT carrier data)

    Prerequisites
    The assignment between the logical and physical paths must bemaintained:
    Physical path: ISP_PTT_ALL
    Logical path: ISP_PTT_ALL
    The following logical file names must be maintained:
    ISP_PTT_ORT_DAT (Temporary city file)
    ISP_PTT_PLZ_DAT (Temporary postal code file)
    ISP_PTT_STR_DAT (Temporary street file)
    ISP_PTT_BOT_DAT (Temporary carrier file)
    Please note: The physical file name depends on the settings for thelogical files.
    Tables:
    Tables JSTPLZPRO, JSTPLZORT, and J_1SPLZZUO must be empty.
    Temporary files:
    You should have run program J_1SNFIL (create temporary file) with thePTT dataset files.
    District municipality key:
    You should have run program J_1SKGS (create dummy entry for districtmunicipality key).
    SAP city file:
    You should have run program J_1SNORT (postal data transfer for cities).
    Program J_1SNPLZ can be restarted if the requirements are met.

    Selection
    Country
    Country for which the postal codes are to be formatted (default = 'CH').
    Printer controls:
    Various settings for log output.

    Input
    Temporary postal code file:
    ISP_PTT_PLZ_DAT.
    SAP city file:
    JSTORTPRO.

    Output
    Log (SPOOL):
    Records containing errors and records not transferred are listed.
    Postal code tables:
    JSTPLZPRO (postal codes)
    JSTPLZORT (postal code-city assignments)
    J_1SPLZZUO (assignment of 4-digit to 6-digit postal codes for CH)
