Purpose
Program J_1SNFIL converts the Swiss postal master data to SAP formatsand generates various files that are used as input for the datasettransfer and conversion programs.
The Swiss PTT files are distributed between the following temporaryfiles:

• Cities


• Postal codes (including optional municipality data, if applicable)


• Streets (with summarization)


• Carriers (optional)

Prerequisites
The assignment between the logical and physical paths must bemaintained:
Physical path: ISP_PTT_ALL
Logical path: ISP_PTT_ALL
The following logical file names must be maintained:
ISP_PTT_ORT_DAT (Temporary city file)
ISP_PTT_PLZ_DAT (Temporary postal code file)
ISP_PTT_STR_DAT (Temporary street file)
ISP_PTT_BOT_DAT (Temporary carrier file)
Please note: The physical file name depends on the settings for thelogical files.
The following PTT files are required for the datasettransfer/comparison:
PLZ_P1_datum.txt (postal code dataset)
PLZ_C_datum.txt (municipality dataset for BLev) --> optional
STHdatum.txt (full street dataset)
MLSFdatum.txt (letters, newspapers, magazines) --> optional
PKTFdatum.txt (catalogs from 500g) --> optional
The following PTT files are required for conversion processing:
PLZ_P1UP_datum.txt (postal code conversions)
STHdatum.txt (full street dataset)
MLSUdatum.txt (letters, newspapers, magazines) --> optional
PKTUdatum.txt (catalogs from 500g) --> optional
CAUTION: You must run program J_1SNFIL in the foreground.
Program J_1SNFIL can be restarted if the requirements are met.

Activities
1) Check whether the requirements are met
2) Enter selection criteria on selection screen
3) Execute program in the foreground
4) Check log
CAUTION: Please ensure that the correct PTT files are used. Thestreet and carrier files should have the same delivery date. Thedelivery date of the corresponding postal code file should be in thenext month.
