Programme SAP INST_SPAM_SYNC - SPAM import during installation

Synchronization when Importing Support Packages

Purpose
If Support Packages are imported in the background, OCS objects areautomatically generated after the SPAM update has been imported.

Integration
The report INST_SPAM_SYNC is called as part of a SmartImplementation or via the transaction INST_CUSTOM.
For security reasons, the report cannot be executed directly.

Activities
The report program INST_SPAM_SYNC is called after the SPAMupdate has been imported.
The report program executes the following synchronization steps:

  • Calls function module SBUF_SYNCHRONIZE to start buffer
    • synchronization immediately.
    • Calls function module SAPTUNE_RESET_BUFFER to reset the table
      • buffers and GUI buffers.
      • Generates the report program INST_SPAM_IMPORT.

      • Generates the report program SAPLSPAM.

      • Generates the report program SAPLOCS_CORE.
