Holiday Pay Bill Cluster Update report (HNZUHCU0)

Purpose
This report is used:

  • When you are going live with the Holiday Pay Act 2003

  • In this case, you want to upload the cluster table NZHPI with 12months' data. You can download the data for the NZHPI clustertable using this report. You can make changes, if required to the data.Then, you can upload the data to the NZHPI cluster table usingthis report.
    • When you do not have employee data in the SAP system for the last 12
    • months
      In this case, you can use this report to download the data for theNZHPI cluster table for the months for which the data isprocessed by the SAP system. Then, you can add the legacy data manuallyto the downloaded file. You can then upload the data to the NZHPIcluster table using this report.

      Integration
      The report reads the latest hire date of the employee while generatingdata for the NZHPI cluster table.

      Features

      Selection

      • Enter the employee selection criteria.

      • Enter the File Type as DAT.

      • Enter the File Name.

      • Enter the period for which you want to download or upload the data for
      • the NZHPI cluster table.
        • Select the Download or Upload indicator.

        • Select the indicator for the calculation of normal working hours.

        • If you want the system to read the WPBP table, select the Using WPBP
          indicator.
          If you want the system to cumulate the values of wage types for whichthe Cumulation Class 26 has been set, select the Usingcumulation class 26 indicator.
          • Enter the number of employees after which the report should update the
          • TemSe file.
            Note: If you enter a very low value, for example 10, or a veryhigh value, for example, 500, it may result in performance issues.
            • If you do not want the report to read the TemSe file while
            • uploading or downloading data, select the Delete TemSe beforestarting program indicator.

              Output

              • If you select the Download option, the report downloads the file
              • in the format and the location that you have specified. You can openthis file with Microsoft Notepad.
                • If you select the Upload option, the report uploads the NZHPI

                • cluster table with the data in the file that you have specified inthe File Name field.

                  Activities

                  • When you are going live with the Holiday Pay Act 2003

                  • Download the file with emloyee data using this report.
                    Open the file using Microsft Notepad.
                    Check the data and if required, make changes to the data. Do not makechanges to fields such as the Sequence Number, Date.
                    Save the file.
                    Upload the file using the report. This will update NZHPI clustertable.
                    • When you do not have employee data in the SAP system for the last 12
                    • months
                      RESET N2
                      Download the file with emloyee data using this report.
                      Open the file using Microsft Notepad.
                      Copy a row of existing data.
                      Change the Data Type to L from S. S denotesthat the data has been processed by the SAP system. L denotesthat the data has been entered manually from the legacy system.
                      Change the Sequence Number. For example, data for 10 monthsexists for the employee and there is data with Sequence Numbers01 - 10. Change the Sequence Number of the added row to 11.
                      Change the Begin Date and End Date to the payroll periodfor which you are entering salary data.
                      Change the salary details.
                      Save the file.
                      Upload the file using the report. This will update NZHPI clustertable.

                      In this case, only last 3 months' data is available. To add data of ninemonths prior to April 1, 2001:
                      Copy any one of the rows above.
                      Paste the row nine times, above the data already present.
                      Change the Data Type to L from S for all the copiedrows.
                      Change the Sequence Number of the first row that you have copiedto 0004, second row to 0005 and so on.
                      Change the Begin Date of the first row that you have copied to01.07.2000 and the End Date to 31.07.2000. Similarly change thedates for all the rows that you have copied.
                      Change the Pay Date for all the copied rows.
                      Change the salary details of the employee in all the copied rows.
                      Save your entries.
                      The new data should look similar to:
