Purpose
This report enables you to display the list of requests for which erroroccurred when you run the Infotype Update in R/3
report (HINUINFO_UPDATE). You can select a request to:

• Display the details of errors due to which the system could not update
infotype records.

• Update claim or advance infotype records.

Prerequisites
You should have executed the Infotype Update in R/3 report(HINUINFO_UPDATE).

Output
The report displays the Resolve Errors for Infotype Update ofClaims/Advance Req screen. This screen displays the following values:


• Employee name


• Company Code


• Reimbursement type


• Type of request

This specifies whether the request is a claim request or advancerequest.

• Request date

This is the date on which a request was created.

• Claim amount

This is the amount claimed in the request.

• Approver name


• Off-cycle

Whether the request is paid through of-cycle.

• Reference number

This is the unique system generated identification number of a request.
You have the following options on the Resolve Errors for InfotypeUpdate of Claims/Advance Req screen:

• Error Simulation

Choose this option to display the error due to which the system couldnot update infotype records for a request. The report displays theerrors in an application log.

• Update Infotype

Choose this option to update infotype records for a request. Afterinfotype update, the report displays an application log to notifywhether the required infotypes were updated or not. If the infotype werenot updated, then the report displays the reason for the same.

Activities
To access this report, on the SAP Easy Access screen chooseHuman Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific ->India -> Utilities -> Claims -> ResolveInfotype Update error.
The system displays the Resolve Errors for Infotype Update ofClaims/Advance Req screen.
