Programme SAP ESH_EX_CONSOLIDATE_CP - Migration and Deletion of Enterprise Seach Change Pointers

Purpose Enterprise Search contains Real-Time Indexing to update thesearch index "just in time". From a technical standpoint, change-pointer database tables are used totrigger real-time indexing to update TREX indices. The main purpose of this program is to remove outdated changepointers from the database table and thus improve the performance ofreal-time indexing. In addition<(>,<)> this program migrates change pointers created by SAPbasis release 7.01 to the new change pointer table. Integration Real-Time Indexing (Migration to newChange-Pointer Handling) Prerequisites None. Selection If the Deletion To-Date is initial, only migration is processed.
