Conversion of Attribute Values to the Euro

Purpose
This program enables you to convert the currency of an individualattribute to Euro.
There are two prerequisites:

• The existing currency belongs to one of the countries participating in
monetary union.

• The fixed exchange rate to the Euro is maintained.

The conversion covers the format details of the attribute, thepermitted values, changes to the permitted values when they areoverwritten, and the values attached to the attribute. Values in theIBASE are also converted, that is, configurations since Release 4.5.However, the usages of values in relationships are not converted.

Note
Check that conversion is really required. Once conversion has takenplace, it cannot be reversed: even if the values themselves are notchanged, the new currency unit for the attribute will apply.
