Programme SAP CRM_ES_COMPARATOR - Program CRM_ES_COMPARATOR

Purpose
Use this program to check the consistency of templates in CRM againstSAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search. Though this program can be used at anytime to monitor CRM template modeling activities, the most suitable timefor doing so is:

  • Prior to client copy if the
  • modeling client is not the customizing client, or
    • Prior to release of the generated transport

    • containing the CRM templates, if the modeling client also happens tobe the customizing client.
We recommend that you start the client copy or release the transport ifthe template in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search is in sync with itsoriginal version in CRM. This fact is signified by the green ball inthe column In Sync.

      Integration
Use transaction CRM_ES_CHK to call the program.

      Output
The program output is presented as an SAP List Viewer (ALV) tablecontrol. The meaning of the columns is shown below:

      • (ES)
        • In sync: Specifies whether the current version of the template
        • has been transferred to ES. A green ball says that the template in ES isin sync with CRM, while a yellow ball says that a model transfer must beexecuted. A grey 'X' means that the template was modelled in EnterpriseSearch directly and therefore can be ignored.
