Programme SAP CACS00_ARCH05_DOC - Example Program for Reading Archives

Description
This is a sample program to display the use of the function modules forreading existing archives.
The following function modules are used:

  • ARCHIVE_OPEN_FOR_READ

  • ARCHIVE_GET_NEXT_OBJECT

  • ARCHIVE_GET_NEXT_RECORD

  • ARCHIVE_CLOSE_FILE

    • Precondition
    You need to create archive files, using the RSARCH04 sampleprogram, so that you also have data for reading.

    Output
    A list is created containing the data records from the archive files.
