Purpose
This transaction activates/deactivates the connection to Central UserAdministration (CUA).
When CUA is inactive, local user maintenance can be carried out withoutany restrictions.
When CUA is active, local user maintenance can be carried out withrestrictions. For more information about restrictions, see the CUAdocumentation.

Prerequisites
The system is part of a CUA group.
Table /ISDFPS/ALE_SYS is maintained.

Activity

Deactivation
Deactivate CUA in exceptional cases only
If a connection to the central system exists (online), the local systementry is deleted from this system and retransferred to the local system.
If no connection to the central system exists (offline), all the CUAsettings are deleted from the local system.

Activation
CUA is to be reactivated from the central system, since the full usercomparison also has to be carried out from this system.
During the user comparison, all local changes are overwritten; the localadministrator must therefore ensure that the CUA administrator isinformed of all changes in advance.
