Maintenance of layout module versions

Purpose
This transaction is used to maintain layout module versions for alayout module.
The following restrictions apply:

• Layout module versions can be copied with materials and/or layout
module variants. Only the material assignments to the layout module andto the variants are copied, not any assignments of these variants toassortments.

• Expired versions cannot be changed.


• The validity periods of the individual versions must not overlap.


• Only the valid-to date of a version can be subsequently changed. Gaps
between versions can only be filled be extending the valid-to date ofthe earlier version.

• Later versions automatically have a higher version number.


• When you create a new version, the system automatically assigns the
next free version number.

• If the status of the currently valid (active) version is reset to
'Planned', an information message is displayed.

• Original version 0000 can never be deleted.
