Mass change of commodity codes / import code numbers in the materialmaster.

Purpose
Each period, some commodity codes / import code numbers are replaced bydifferent numbers. Using mass change, you can automatically replacecommodity codes / import code numbers already assigned in the materialmaster by a new number for all corresponding materials.

Example
For Germany, the Wiesbaden-based Federal Statistical Office replaces
the commodity code 19059060 by the new number 19059099. The old number19059060 has been assigned to 130 materials in different plants in thematerial master.
Using this program, you do not need to change the commodity code foreach of the 130 materials via the "Change material" transaction.Instead, it automatically changes the commodity code for the 130materials and updates these codes in the database.
