Need for a SSL Client CertificateThis parameter specifies whether or not the client must providea certificate. There are three levels of verification altogether(0-2):

  • 0: No certificate is required and the server does not request
    • one.
    • 1: The server requests the transmission of a certificate from the
      • client. If the client does not send a certificate,authentication of another sort (such as Basic) is performed(Default Setting).
      • 2: The Client must provide the server with a valid certificate.
        • Otherwise access is denied.
