Timer to close inactive routes between gateways
Connections that run over a wide area network cause high running costs.Connections of this type are realized in an SAP environment using aSAProuter.
The time period with which inactive gateway connections are closed is 30minutes by default (gw/gw_disconnect ). Thisis too long for WAN connections of this type. Therefore, connectionsthat use a SAProuter are handled separately.
If a connection that uses a SAProuter is not used, this connection isclosed after a certain time. This period is determined by the value ofthis parameter.
Value 0 deactivates the check of these connections.
Connections between gateways in a local area network (LAN), which do notusually run through a SAProuter, are not affected by this parameter.
This check can be performed a maximum of every
gw/max_sleep seconds. It therefore makes no sense to specify a valuesmaller than gw/max_sleep.
