Define a short name for a host

Parameter description
You can use this type of parameter to assign hosts that have long namesat operating system level with short names for use within the R/3system.
cpuid/mercury025.med.pitt.edu = billy
As a result, host 'mercury025.med.pitt.edu' will be managed within theR/3 system under the name 'billy'. Since the part of the parameter nameafter 'cpuid/' is variable, there can be any number of these parameters.They should however be included in the instance profile (but never inDEFAULT.PFL).
Parameters of this type are more robust than other cpuid/ parameters.

cpuid/before_first
cpuid/behind_last
cpuid/trunc_size
cpuid/trunc_left

Character strings, at most as many characters as produced bycpuid/trunc_size. (8, 13, or 32, ...)
