This parameter specifies the name and the name type of the applicationserver in the external security system.
Name of external security system
Depending on the external product, the name can be, for example, anX.500 name or another product-specific name. The name is specified inthe external system.

The name type is specified in a prefix (see below)

Valid_values
An "identity" (often called the "SNC name") consists of a maximum ofthree parts, the first two (maximum) are specified in the area, the lastpart depends exclusively on the (external) network security productused.

where <(><<)>name type> is one of seven possible characters:

  • u "user name"

  • s "host-based service name form"

  • p "printable name"

  • z "product private name type 3"

    • The following is currently allowed as product specifications:

    If possible, include the system number and host name of the applicationserver in the name.
