Résumé :
SAP systems may encounter errors such as 'Client host_sid_00 is not known to the message server' and 'Unable to reach central lock handler,' primarily when the TCP buffers overflow due to a high number of enqueue requests. This leads to blocked R/3 work processes and certain applications, affecting system stability and performance. SAP recommends adjusting the TCP receive and send buffer sizes to 1 MB using the OS/400 command CHGTCPA with parameters TCPRCVBUF and TCPSNDBUF. Restarting TCP/IP or performing an IPL is necessary to implement these changes and restore normal operations.
