Le SAP Note décrit l'ambiguïté dans la détermination de l'utilisation du nom d'hôte pleinement qualifié (FQHN) par le Gestioneur de Communication Internet (ICM). La configuration peut être déterminée via trois paramètres : SAPLOCALHOST, SAPLOCALHOSTFULL et icm/host_name_full, avec une hiérarchie spécifique concernant le paramètre utilisé par l'ICM. SAPLOCALHOSTFULL est privilégié si configuré dans le profil SAP, idéal pour les configurations à haute disponibilité (HA). Si non configuré, icm/host_name_full, puis le FQHN du système d'exploitation, sont utilisés. Il est conseillé de s'assurer que ces paramètres correspondent aux noms d'hôte réels ou virtuels pour éviter les erreurs de configuration. Cette configuration est effective à partir des niveaux de patch spécifiés pour les systèmes SAP et les services J2EE.
