Users of SEM-BCS, Analytical Banking, or Costing applications with software component FINBASIS Release 3.0 or higher may experience system terminations via TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED. This error stems from insufficient shared objects memory, causing an overflow when the application fails to handle this exception. To resolve, check the memory allocation using transaction SHMM and adjust the abap/shared_objects_size_MB parameter according to system size and base. For medium systems, typically reserve 100-200MB. Consider smaller settings for 32bit systems to maintain adequate free memory.
