Résumé :
When the browser window hosting SAP GUI for HTML is closed, or a new URL is entered, current implementations did not terminate the ITS and R/3 work sessions immediately; they persisted until a timeout occurred. This could reserve memory and threads, preventing new logins. The issue is addressed in ITS 6.10 patch level 10, which introduces the ~disconnectOnClose function. Setting this parameter to '1' in the service file enables immediate session disconnect upon browser closure or URL change, effectively terminating the session and freeing resources. This functionality is presently exclusive to SAP GUI for HTML.
Mots Clés :
front-end session management, 10 patch level 10 implements, monitoring functions contained, ~command=logoff statement, naturally time-consuming, increased response time, set timeout caused, close window button, ~disconnectonclose service parameter, session management
