Résumé :
When importing an R/3 update level, customer modifications to printer type tables are overwritten by SAP definitions. This is due to improper modifications directly to original SAP device types rather than creating customized copies. Custom device types should begin with “Z” or “Y” to avoid this issue. The provided solution involves using Report RSTXCPRI from transaction SPAD to duplicate SAP printer types with modification-friendly designations (e.g., ZHPLJIIID). This report facilitates copying all related table entries to a new customer-designated printer type, effective from Release 4.0A. Earlier releases (up to 2.0) can't create non-standard device types in customer-specific classes.
