SAP Note 22043 - Proposed quantities not always whole numbers

Composant : Inventory Management -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/22043 (Connexion à SAP Service Marketplace requise)

Résumé :
Goods movements and reservations in SAP can incorrectly handle units of measure that should be integral (e.g., pieces), allowing decimal entries. This issue affects processes like goods withdrawals for production orders or backflushing. The system is designed to ensure accurate cost allocations when fractions of a unit are used in production processes (e.g., using 0.1 PC from 1 PC for 10 KG production). The SAP note advises users to manually adjust quantities to whole numbers during data entry if required. Relevant transactions include MB01 and units of measure are referenced in T006.
