L’interface de numérisation de virus de SAP (VSI) permet l’intégration de produits externes antimalware via NW-VSI 2.00, une interface certifiée. Les utilisateurs qui intégrer des solutions antivirus doivent installer un produit antimalware externe et utiliser l’adaptateur de numérisation de virus pour l'interface. La certification de ces produits, valide pour trois ans, peut être vérifiée ou demandée à travers le Centre d'Intégration et de Certification de SAP (ICC). Le NW-VSI 1.00 est obsolète, et ses certifications ne sont plus valides. Les solutions antivirus doivent offrir des packages SDK pour la compatibilité avec le NW-VSI 2.00.
