SAP Note addresses the challenges related to SEPA credit transfers. With the national bank associations revising their XML formats to closer align with ISO 20022 standards, SAP has updated the DMEE format tree for SEPA_CT. However, in certain cases, SAP's format tree adapts the generic ISO namespace, requiring users to modify it for specific bank requirements. This note introduces the option to specify non-standard XML namespace attributes in the SAPFPAYM program. Users can now adjust XMLNS, XSI, and SCHEMALOCATION parameters directly, enhancing compatibility without needing format tree modifications, simplifying administration, and ensuring compliance with unique banking schemas.
