This SAP Note addresses a "Rfc error received" error that occurs when attempting to log on to the R/3 system using logon control. The error is triggered by a program fault related to how the logon control dialog popup processes the language field. Users should manually enter a language code (e.g., EN, DE) in the language field as a temporary workaround. A permanent fix will be implemented in a forthcoming SAP GUI for Windows patch. Detailed information regarding the patch's availability can be found in SAP Note 1053737, and patches can be obtained from the SAP Service Marketplace following the instructions in SAP Notes 563161 and 330793.
